Scarlett Johansson was born on November 22, 1984, at New York City New York. She is an American actress/singer whose versatility has gained her recognition across a range of genres - from thrillers and adventures to period films. Johansson, born to an architect as well as producer, was brought up in New York City. Her twin brother Hunter were the youngest of four siblings. As a young girl of just 7 an old, the actress began auditioning for television commercials.
